threading programme with two
new ranges. The versatile
range of Titanium Nitride
coated taps is designed
for high performance
threading across a wide
range of materials including
stainless steel, copper and
aluminium.

Available in spiral point and spiral
flute geometries, Dormer says the
surface treatment provides high
hardness combined with low friction
properties for longer tool life and
better cutting performance over
uncoated taps.

Featuring Hard
Chrome Plating and a
geometry designed for
optimum flute space,
the second range of four
new taps promote continuous
production in applications
involving structural grade steels,
carbon steels and alloy steels.
