Holroyd Precision’s new Zenith
machine has the capability to use the
three grinding technologies of
aluminium oxide, Electro-plated
CBN and vitrified (dressable) CBN.

The compact, user-friendly
machine is said to give high loop
stiffness, good thermal resilience and
rigid work holding. Its increased
diameter capacity can accommodate
components of up to 420mm in
diameter and it is possible to use
tooling from existing grinding
machines. A new control system
incorporates both development and
production software.
