After a fire Atlantic Linen specified a
new, ex-stock RBC1850 horizontal
steam boiler from Fulton. The burner
was modified and the new system was
available within weeks. This quick
response played an important part in
establishing Atlantic Linen’s new
larger laundry production facility. The
new RBC boiler features automatic
TDS blowdown control, which
besides supplying the steam to heat
five washer extractors and two large
roll ironers, also provides steam for
the building’s HVAC system via fanassisted
steam batteries.

This is the second Atlantic
installation after its steam generator
failed in 2007 and a reconditioned
30E steam boiler was supplied and
installed within just a few days.
