Contractor, Montagu Waterproofing, provided the solution in the form of FibreGrid’s high performance, low maintenance GRP Walkway System. The glass reinforced plastic grating is tough, yet lightweight, won’t rust and is anti-slip. It is also fire retardant, chemical resistant and non-sparking.

In this case, the client chose 38mm holes with Buzon feet to raise the grating above the gullys so water could flow under the grating, and operatives could safely walk on the grating without touching the roof. In addtion, 25mm grating was used for the ‘up and overs’ .
