Crowcon’s intrinsically safe TXgard-
IS+ gas detector is fitted with
electrochemical sensors which enable
it to detect a wide range of toxic
gases and oxygen. Gases detected
include those commonly found in
industrial applications such as carbon
monoxide, hydrogen sulphide,
chlorine, ammonia, nitrogen dioxide,
sulphur dioxide and oxygen.

Already certified to ATEX and
IECEx standards, the addition of UL
certification means the TXgard IS+
can now be used globally, including
North America, the Middle East and
South East Asia in Zone 0, 1 or 2 or
Division 1 or 2 hazardous areas
when used with a safety barrier
(zener barrier or galvanic isolator).
