Following the launch of its new offsite
building system, Yorkon has
extended the structural warranty
protection to 30 years. This
warranty is for the structural and
load-bearing elements of a Yorkon
building, includinge external walls,
floors, roofs and columns.

Yorkon buildings also have a fiveyear
product warranty that covers
the external fabric of a building – the
steel structure, floor, walls, roof
panels, external windows and doors
or any part of the external fabric that
contributes to the building’s function
as a structurally sound, insulated unit.

The new steel-framed building
system offers a very wide range of
modules and configurations.

Features of the system include:
Columns that are no longer visible
either internally or externally; the
option of using larger but fewer
modules to reduce cranage, transport
costs and site works; two module
width options (3 and 3.75m); module
lengths from 6 to 18.75m; three
height options for single-storey
buildings, and seven for ground and
intermediate floors on multi-storey
schemes to facilitate linking to
traditionally-constructed buildings.
