Lord Mandelson has officially opened
the Wilkinson Welding Academy –
Wilkinson Star’s purpose built,
hands-on practical welder training
and welding theory training centre.

The Academy has 12 acoustic
welding booths incorporating both
high vacuum and low vacuum fume
extraction systems. Equipment
includes the latest Cebora inverter
based MIG, TIG and MMA welding
products, such as the recently
Thatcham certified single phase
Jaguar Double Pulse MIG Inverter, as
well as high definition plasma
cutting equipment and a 5-axis robot
welding cell.
