retainers have been installed
at The Royal Foundation of
St Katharine, a charitable
foundation just minutes from
the City and Canary Wharf,
that is used as a venue for
meetings and receptions.

The Dorgards allow fire
doors to be kept open legally
and safely as they allow the
door to close when the fire
alarm sounds, preventing the
spread of fire and smoke.

Installed onto the bottom of
the fire door in less than 5min,
Dorgard listens for a
continuous fire alarm of
65dBA or higher.

A wireless unit with failto-
safe technology, the device
complies with BS EN 1155
and is accepted by the Fire
and Rescue Service. It has
automatic night-time release.
