Transfer role in Mexico
UPM conveyors has designed, installed and commissioned a fully automated product handling system for Lindal Group in Mexico to transfer injection moulded components to assembly hoppers on GIMA machines for production of aerosols primarily for Unilever. UPM says it has now been awarded preferred supplier status to Plastek UK and Nypro Ireland for similar applications for Unilever.

GRAS Sound and Vibration UK, a subsidiary of Denmark-based G.R.A.S Sound and Vibration A/S and a specialist in measurement microphones and related acoustic equipment, has completed its first year of trading and reports that it has beaten its sales target by almost 20%.
