Larger welding and grinding bench.

AirBench has released a larger version of its FPW welding and grinding bench. The new FPW269084 is 600mm longer giving, an overall area of 2550 x 960mm, and a ventilated area of 1800 x 600mm which represents a 50% increase in extracted area over the previous model, allowing for larger workpieces and processes.

Rosetta’s fuel levels monitored

When the ESA team decided to crash the Rosetta spacecraft onto the surface of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko to end the 12 year project, the required manoeuvre called for a three minute thruster burn. Data from two Kistler pressure sensors confirmed that there was enough fuel left in the tanks to complete the burn with a little left in reserve.
