Mattei has designed and manufactured
air compressors for more than 95 years and is the global leader in the design
and manufacture of rotary vane air compressors.

Mattei’s manufacturing base and
headquarters is located in Milan, Italy and sales and service support for its
products in the UK have been provided for over 25 years from its centralised
base in Warwickshire which in turn is supported by a network of strategically
located service engineers.

As a manufacturer Mattei takes its
responsibility for reducing the environmental impact of compressed air systems
very seriously and offers the world’s largest range of highly efficient rotary
vane air compressors (1.5kW – 250kW) in order to provide the most economical
installation choice. This is backed by design and manufacturing excellence in
order to ensure, the most efficient and reliable compressors, that consume less
energy, require fewer parts and less oil, are produced thereby providing the
