Benefits of Red Ledge’s approach include RFID-driven goods tracking, automated goods routing and ASRS (automatic storage and retrieval) for a fully automated ‘lights out’ warehouse environment, already adopted by Red Ledge pilot sites.
 
Other new features include order volumisation, automatic box erection and zonal picking software; intelligent links to ‘best for you’ couriers (chosen from a list of 70); and an interface to Böwe Systec Optimus sorters, controlled by a smart order management system.
 
Red Ledge Warehouse Management and Control can track and trace a wide range of goods, including pharmaceuticals and is compliant with Europe’s Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD). The system can be deployed on site or in the cloud.
