The organiser of WWEM has announced a new Gas Detection zone at its 2010 conference and exhibition. Traditionally focusing on environmental monitoring, the event will now also highlight airborne industrial hazards and risk assessment across all industries, with the participation of the Council of Gas Detection and Environmental Monitoring (CoGDEM). Hazards include accidental exposure to low oxygen levels in confined spaces and to toxic, flammable or explosive gases.

The event takes place on 10th and 11th November at Telford International Centre. Entry is free (saving an admission fee of £20) to preregistered visitors; register at www.wwem.uk.com
