Vaisala's upgraded OEM dewpoint
transmitter, the DMT152, withstands
high temperatures while controlling
low humidities. The compact sensor
is said to be an even better fit for
applications such as plastics dryers and
maintains performance in compressed
air systems, dry chambers, pure gases
and high-voltage circuit breakers.
The device has a wider dew point measurement range (-80 to -10°C Td), new upper temperature limit of 70°C and better response time. It is suitable for harsh environments where protection against dust, dirt and splashed water is required.
The DRYCAP polymer sensor has a fast wet-to-dry response time, typically of just minutes, and full recovery from saturated conditions.
