The new LED High-Bay luminaire
from Cooper Lighting and Safety is
said to offer reductions in energy
consumption and maintenance
requirements, as well as a number of
other benefits when compared with
traditional HID luminaires.
The company says that with multidie LED chip array technology, the new luminaire has a low power consumption of 142W, resulting in energy savings of 65% compared with a 400W metal-halide luminaire.
LED High-Bay delivers instant white light with no restrike or run-up delay, and it offers a long service life.
Its ability to operate at temperatures down to -30°C makes it suitable for use in cold stores, though it is equally suitable for general high-bay use up to 30°C.
