The groundwork on the extension has started and the building is due to be completed by September 2011.
The company's managing director Mark Strange said: "Despite the economic downturn, sales of our products continue to grow and it is our chief priority to ensure that our customers have sufficient stock at all times to satisfy consumer demand."
