The closing date is nearing for Kimberly-Clark Professional's Make a Difference health and safety award scheme, which aims to celebrate the individual achievement of health and safety professionals in manufacturing.
The closing date is nearing for Kimberly-Clark Professional's Make a Difference health and safety award scheme, which aims to celebrate the individual achievement of health and safety professionals in manufacturing.
There are now just over three weeks to go to the closing date of 24 June for this innovative award scheme, supported by the British Safety Council, is taking place for the first time this year.
The awards scheme is designed to recognise the success of individual health and safety practitioners in manufacturing in the United Kingdom, Czech Republic, France and Germany for improvements they have made in three categories key to successful risk management over the last three years.
The award categories are: safe systems of work; instruction, training and supervision; selection and effective use of personal protective equipment.
The UK winners in each of the three categories will go forward to the European awards final event hosted by Kimberly-Clark Professional. This will take place at the A+A international trade fair in Dusseldorf on 19 October.
Winners will be provided with return flights plus one night's hotel accommodation in Dusseldorf on 19 October.
