Laidler Associates, part of the
machinery division of TÜV SÜD
Product Service, will be running its
University Certificate in Professional
Development (UCPD) courses on
European Machinery Safety,
Electrical Safety and the newer
Functional Safety Standards this
Autumn. The first one is due to take
place on the 17th October 2011 at
the Ramada Hotel, Solihull.
The UCPD courses include a week's training which covers in detail the regulatory framework relating to machine safety. Once the training is complete the professionals then have 16-weeks of distance learning to complete their final assessment using Laidler's virtual reality package.
The Electrical and Functional Safety courses are the latest additions to the Laidler training portfolio and cover the application of key EN standards for machinery safety such as EN 60204-1, EN ISO 13849-1 and EN 62061.
