Camfil Farr won the award for Best Engineering Plant at the Best Factory Awards 2011.

Camfil Farr won the award for Best Engineering Plant at the Best Factory Awards 2011.

Camfil is a global manufacturer of air filtration equipment and associated services and the world leader in the production and development of air filters.

Camfil Farr's 160,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Haslingden, Lancashire won the 'Best Engineering Plant' and was highly commended for the Health & Safety Award and the Energy & Environment Award.

The Best Factory Awards are organised by the Cranfield School of Management in partnership with Works Management.

Jamie Kay, Production Director at Camfil said: "Few factories can produce standard and non-standard products with equal speed and consistent quality. Thanks to our confident, skilled workforce and superb engineering skills, we do it every day. This award is a huge endorsement from manufacturing experts of the capability of our people and processes."
