Boc joins mtc

Industrial gases and engineering company BOC has become the latest member of the flagship Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry. The MTC is a key part of the UK Government's drive to make the UK the home of advanced manufacturing technologies. It forms part of the first of a series of Technology Innovation Centres or 'Catapult' centres, developing new processes and products for 21st century engineering projects.

The agreement allows BOC, a Member of The Linde Group, to become a partner in these development projects with other members of the centre such as Rolls- Royce, Airbus, The National Physical Laboratory and The Welding Institute. As a leading supplier of industrial gases and related equipment, BOC is reported to be ideally placed to provide expertise and specific gas technologies to support this research.
