ESAB's new roller beds enable cylindrical fabrications to be handled effectively during rotation welding.

They can typically be used when fabricating pipes or pipelines, wind turbine towers and pressure vessels.

The LLR-500 conventional roller bed is designed to handle lightweight workpieces and provides a loading capacity of up to 250kg for both the drive and idler units, giving a total load of 500kg. For larger components, the LLR-3000 has a load capacity of 1500kg each for drive and idler units for 3000kg loads. The roller beds can handle workpiece diameters from about 50 to 1000mm for the LLR-500 and 286 to 1006mm for the LLR-3000.

All the new roller beds are robust units that are designed to withstand the harsh conditions encountered in fabrication shops. Stepless adjustable speed is a feature of all models and they also include a low-voltage pedal with start/stop function.
