Loosens solidified materials

Enabling bulk bag unloaders to discharge more easily and fully through bag spouts, Flexicon's Block- Buster Bulk Bag Conditioner is designed to loosen material that has solidified during storage or ship - ment. The new conditioner is suitable for use with bulk bags containing hygroscopic chemicals, certain spice blends, heat-sensitive products, and other materials prone to solidifying to the point at which pneumaticallyactuated flow promotion accessories integral to bulk bag dischargers may become inefficient.

The unit incorporates a canti - levered I-beam with motorised hoist and trolley, allowing the loading and unloading of bulk bags without the use of a forklift. After lowering a bag into the conditioner frame, two hydraulic rams fitted with contoured plates press opposing sides of the bulk bag to loosen the material.
