21 August 2015
September 23rd sees the doors open at the NEC in Birmingham to the Surface World Show, an event dedicated to the surface treatment, product finishing and coatings industry. It provides a major showcase for the very latest technology and developments in this important and expanding area.

This year many top names in the surface finishing industry will exhibit and there will be two new open forum style seminar areas, located within the hall, offering a wide range of presentations from end users, manufacturers and technical specialists. These include Rolls Royce, 3M, Honeywell and RAPRA. The seminars, organised by Hill Media in conjunction with the Institute of Materials Finishing, will be spread across the two day show on 23rd and 24th September, between 10.00am and 15.00pm.
One of the current hot topics in the surface finishing industry is the Trichloroethylene ban that takes effect as of April 21st 2016. At Surface World you can find out how this will affect your current cleaning processes, what changes you need to incorporate into your business and what are the alternatives.
A new addition to Surface World 2015 is the handy new show app. Just visit the App Store or Google Play and search for ‘Surface World Show’. By downloading this new app you will be able to pre-register for the show, see who is exhibiting, get the latest show news, take a look at the seminars, book your accommodation in advance, and find out how to save 25% on train travel to the show, along with many more features that will ensure you get the most from your time at the show.
