Reclassification of spiral wound gasket

James Walker has announced that its Metaflex spiral wound gasket has been reclassified.

The 2-STAR rating in the Shell Global Solutions Technically Accepted Manufactures And Products (TAMAP) database gives reassurance to clients that Metaflex gaskets are at the forefront of quality, performance and reliability for a wide range of piping and pressure vessel applications.
New manufacturing equipment is being installed in key strategic hubs in Australia, Belgium, Singapore and the UK as part of the James Walker global strategy for continual improvement. This will put the company in a position to better meet customer demand, as well as to supply non-standard rapid turnaround items from an improved network of service centres.
In addition to strengthening its capabilities through investment in new equipment, James Walker has added expertise in terms of technical and sales support for its gasket products through the recruitment of key personnel with in-depth operational, commercial and technical gasket industry backgrounds, to provide world class support to customers.
