A Wieland TÜV-certified training course provides the required legal basics and understanding of standards needed to properly evaluate the functional safety of a machine and to design and calculate safety functions.

Covering the safety aspects of machinery and equipment with a focus on electro-technology, the course is suitable for designers, developers, maintenance personnel, safety engineers and engineers responsible for safety in machine building.
The three day course is said to have a 100% success rate and covers:
• EU directives, law and standards
• Risk assessment according to EN ISO 12100
• Functional safety according to EN ISO 13849-1 and -2
