Seal monitor

A new brochhure from John Crane includes details of its wireless 3in1 Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) that allows individual seal support systems to be monitored remotely.

The brochure explains how the technology remotely monitors the barrier fluid for pressure, temperature and level in real-time, which allows it to provide early indication of any problems. That information can then be used to take preventative action at an early stage, allowing the user to avoid a seal failure and benefit from improved pump availability plus reduced maintenance costs.
