is the IRT1557 combined
insulation and continuity
tester. The lightweight
instrument is designed to
meet the measurement
requirements of the IEE 17th
Edition Wiring Regulations
and Part P certification.
Features include long life battery operation and a large backlit LCD that shows measurement readings in both analogue and digital formats.
The tester has an integrated safety probe that ensures the large backlit analogue and digital LCD test display remain in the user's line of sight while circuit measurements are taken.
Other features include automatic discharge of capacitive circuits, a lock function to continuously apply a test and automatic audio warnings of high voltage and low or high resistance.
