Continuous growth is anticipated in the biogas sector, and filtration specialist Donaldson is meeting this challenge, placing an emphasis on biogas drying, an important element for the gas cleaning process and necessary to prevent corrosion in system components and pipes.

Adsorption dryers with pressure dewpoints to -50°C and volume flows from 150 to 6000 m3/h are available from Donaldson for biogas drying of the natural gas substitution. A customised system may prove more economical.

Even for systems of 5000m3/h upward, Donaldson can create a solution tailored to operating parameters. The company has extensive experience of the treatment of industrial gases, such as nitrogen inert gas, carbon dioxide, natural gas and hydrogen that can be transferred to the biogas treatment.
