has welcomed the publication of the
full coalition document and has
urged the government to now press
ahead and consult with business on
more detailed proposals to deliver a
plan to rebalance the economy.
On Environmental and Energy
issues, EEF head of climate &
environment, Gareth Stace, says:
"While industry understands the
need for ambitious targets to address
climate change, the fear remains it
will be left to shoulder the majority
of the responsibility for reducing
carbon emissions.
"We need to see a greater sharing of the burden across other sectors of the economy and for domestic users."
