produced an opportunity to bring
together the organisations' maintenance
philosophies and rationalise
operations at Volvo's five sites.
The Volvo team, working with Mainnovation as a neutral partner, visited each manufacturing site and ran Value Driven Maintenance (VDM) workshops to identify the issues that needed to be addressed.
Once important competences were identified, the next step was to organise and control them in the right way. For this purpose VDM puts forward best practices from leading maintenance philosophies.
