Chalmor's lighting, combined with
BlueWave lighting controllers, is
helping Newcastle City Council
reduce energy consumption and
carbon emissions across large areas
of its building portfolio.
The lighting upgrade is projected to reduce carbon emissions by 1200t of CO2 per annum. Replacing T8 fluorescent tubes with T5 light sources, using Chalmor's energy efficient products and design skills is expected to reduce the installed electrical load by around 50%.
In most buildings, lighting is linked to BlueWave 2-channel lighting controllers, enabling lighting to be controlled in relation to occupancy and daylight levels.
