Reduced installation time and the
elimination of the effects of
corrosion on air tools are two
benefits claimed by John Guest for
its Push Fit Compressed Air System.
The system is made up of push-fit connectors made in an engineering plastic material or in brass and blue aluminium and rigid nylon pipe.
Pushing the pipe into the fitting is all that is needed to make a permanent leak-proof connection.
Components are light and easy to handle and, because the pipe is cut to length using pipe cutters, there is virtually no waste.
The simplicity of making a connection means it is quick and easy to go round obstacles or produce take-off points. Fittings can be disconnected and re-used without the need for replacement parts.
