GlassGuard BlackBand coated shatterproof lamps offer an effective way to protect businesses from accidental lamp breakage and glass contamination.

To illustrate how important fragment retention lamps can be, the company has made a new video available to watch on its website at www.glassguard.co.uk. The film shows how BS EN61549 compliant shatterproof lamps enhance the safety of the public, employees and businesses.

"This film was made to answer all the key questions that we get asked regarding shatterproof lamps," says GlassGuard's sales director, Chris Payne. "Fluorescent lamps are at particular risk of damage during routine maintenance, so we made extra efforts to emphasise the risk at these times. The case study at Arla Foods provides a real life example of money and production time saved by switching to GlassGuard's BS EN61549 compliant shatterproof lamps."
