Bollé Safety, will be launching what
it believes is the first safety spectacle
manufactured from corn extract. The
company says Bio certified, B-Green
uses 30% less fossil carbon to
manufacture and produces less
greenhouse gases than a standard
product. It offers the wearer a high
degree of protection, style, comfort
and field of view.
The Solis B-Green is approved to the European Standards EN 166 1F and EN 170 so provides the wearer with protection against impact (45m/s) and UV radiation.
It also has class 1 optical quality which means, says Bollé, that it can be worn all day, every day.
