Compressed air for point of use
25 January 2013
The PNEUDRI MiDAS compressed air dryer range from Parker domnick hunter provides many benefits for users with terminal applications and requiring flow rates up to 54m3/hr.
Compressed air purification often needs to be integrated into pneumatically controlled machinery for “point of use†applications where treating the complete system to the required air quality standard would prove impractical or too costly.
The PNEUDRI MiDAS compressed air dryer range from Parker domnick hunter provides many benefits for users with terminal applications and requiring flow rates up to 54m3/hr. Seven models in the range provide effective compressed air purification at any pressure between 4 and 12 bar g.
Delivered air quality meets ISO 8573-1:2010 Class 2 water vapour (-40°C pdp) as standard with an option of ISO 8573-1:2010 Class 1 water vapour (-70°C pdp) for more critical applications.
PNEUDRI MiDAS contains its own high efficiency inlet filtration with condensate removal, and a combined desiccant drying / particulate filter. For a highly contaminated compressed air supply, the application of an OIL-X EVOLUTION pre-filter may also be required.
An optional 45° tilt, wall mounting kit for vertically securing the dryer to a wall, canopy or integrated into a customers' product, where access to the top of the dryer is restricted, facilitates easy cartridge replacement.
With this novel feature and the quick release top cap arrangement, a complete service can be achieved in less than 15 minutes without the need to disconnect the inlet / outlet ports, as with traditional drying systems.
PNEUDRI MiDAS will benefit users with a specific need for clean dry air (CDA) directly after a compressor or a particular application where the air is critical to the operating process or end product.
