New arctic emergency tank showers
are now available from Showers &
Eyebath Services which include the
provision of a bespoke dry
room/changing room. The facility
attaches to the front of the shower
entrance and provides additional
protection against the harsh
elements should a user have to strip
off for emergency decontamination
of their body and clothing.
The units have spring loaded doors, lighting and wall air heaters set at 20°C. A strip curtain separates the areas. The changing facility gives protection against exposure to the elements which can potentially exacerbate a contamination problem.
The Arctic Tank Shower is ATEX and GOST certified and is suitable for temperatures ranging from -40 up to +40°C. It is manufactured from glass reinforced plastic and stainless steel and provides 15 minutes of guaranteed tepid water.
