Svantek UK has introduced the SV106 Human Vibration Meter and Analyser. The instrument is capable of measuring both hand-arm (HAV) and whole body vibration (WBV) and can measure vibration simultaneously on both hands, using two triaxial accelerometers.

The lightweight, pocket sized analyser with its high-resolution colour display features six channels for vibration and two channels for static force measurement, and can be used to measure whole-body vibration when used with a seat accelerometer.

The instrument provides both octave and third octave real time band analysis and complies with standards ISO 8041:2005 and ISO 2631-1,2&5 (including VDV and MTVV) for human vibration and ISO 5349 for hand-arm vibration.

Data from SV106 can be down-loaded to any PC for fast and accurate analysis, troubleshooting and reporting, using a USB interface and Svantek's dedicated SvanPC+ software.

The device allows advanced data-logging, including spectral analysis.
