Over the wall and into China

International sealing engineering business James Walker is set to trade under its own name in the world's fastest growing industrial market following the granting of licences by the Chinese government.

The new business is headquartered in Shanghai and operates under the name of James Walker (Shanghai) Sealing Technologies Ltd.

The new company, a joint venture with a local distributor, aims to strengthen the James Walker brand in China and allow the company to provide improved levels of technical support and customer service - particularly in key markets such as power generation, iron and steel manufacturing, renewable energy and pharmaceuticals.
