At a recent industry banquet in
Sweden, SPM was announced
winner of the Scandinavian First
Maintenance Service Award 2012.
The Swedish Centre for Maintenance Management, a trade association for reliability and maintenance suppliers in the Nordic countries, grants the awards to highlight maintenance efforts resulting in profitability increases on behalf of the customer. SPM participated with its SPM HD, a new measuring technique for shock pulse measurement on rotating machinery, and was awarded the prize by a unanimous jury.
The purpose of the award is to stimulate suppliers, as well as maintenance buyers to demonstrate the benefits of maintenance in economic terms and to spread knowledge about profitable maintenance.
