The Type 1 meter conforms to IEC 61672-1 standard and is suitable for industrial hygiene, short period environmental, and general acoustic noise measurement. It can be used by acoustics consultancies and engineers dealing with general noise issues. It provides broad-band results with all required weighting filters, as well as 1/1 octave and 1/3 octave analysis.
