ABB will be presenting products for
water and wastewater
treatment applications on
stand E20 at IWEX 2013,
NEC Birmingham, 16th-18th
April.
A fully automated interactive panel will show how ABB's instruments can be integrated with its variable speed drives, electric motors and control equipment to provide complete solutions for monitoring and controlling water supplies.
Among the products to be featured will be an example of ABB's Aztec Ion-Selective Electrode (ISE) analyser range. Available in ammonia and fluoride sensing versions, the Aztec 600 ISE provides an additional safeguard in potable water applications. Its wide measuring range, for example, makes it suitable for potable water intake protection, while the Aztec 600 Fluoride helps ensure doses of fluoride are kept within regulatory limits.
Both are said to offer cost savings of up to 25% on reagent use. Further savings are achievable using the monitor's 'Eco' mode feature.
