Maintaining strategies for success
23 May 2013
We all know that successful companies are prepared to innovate. Yet, in an unpredictable world it can seem safer to carry on doing the same old thing rather than embark on something new.
That’s why I’m so pleased that IP&E, which had the vision to innovate by introducing the Essential Guide to Maintenance Management last year, has been rewarded with success. The Guide has proved to be such an effective annual reference publication, that here we are with the second edition, which easyFairs is once again proud to support.
I’d like to think that our show – Maintec – now in 39th year, is equally prepared to invest in new ideas. For instance, in 2013 we enhanced our Hazex area and introduced to the show both the Business Strategy Conference and the Maintenance Professional Awards. For next year’s show we’re not only co-locating with Health & Safety Midlands, but we have also launched the Facilities Management show. Running alongside Maintec, these two events will ensure yet more content for our visitors, and yet more visitors for our Maintec exhibitors.
Equally this yearbook, published by our show’s Official Media Partner, IP&E, has even more content for maintenance, plant and asset managers to draw on. Throughout its pages, you will find best practice, new products and legislation, opinions and comment from influential figures within the sector, plus easy access to lots of great suppliers.
I hope this Guide, like our show, helps you find the new ideas, information, products and services that your company needs so that you too can keep on ringing in the changes during the year ahead.
Wishing you a successful and innovative year – until we next meet, hopefully at MAINTEC 2014!
