For harsh environments
06 June 2013
The new Harting Han(R) Q High Density is a rectangular connector for signal contacts which delivers the highest contact density to date in the company’s compact Han(R) 3A size range. It incorporates 21 D-Sub contacts, including one designed as a leading contact.

The new connector has been developed to address the challenges of harsh ambient conditions where ease of handling is needed in addition to the connector being dust-proof, dirt-proof and waterproof. In particular, it can be used in environments in which gloves are worn: something that is not possible with the conventional D-Sub connector.
The new connector meets this requirement because it can be used in all housing models of the HARTING Han(R) 3A size.
