Contract for high-speed door

The brief was to alter an opening to accommodate high volumes of forklift traffic entering and leaving the building, to form a new opening to provide additional ingress to the building and create a sealed system at two openings to protect goods being transferred to and from the building.

Hart manufactured and installed a Speedor Super, a high-speed automatic, door as well as docks seals and a sectional overhead door that required a vertical lift system up to 10m high.

Other requirements included a two-way induction loop system to operate the Speedor Super, a dual traffic light system, detailed drawings to enable supporting steelwork to be fabricated and installed, and the matching of doors or interface with the façade of the building.
