Hart Doors Systems has supplied a high-speed door, a sectional overhead door and two inflatable dock seals for Steinhoff UK Group Properties at its Magna Park, Warrington, distribution facility for its Harveys and Benson for Beds subsidiary.
The brief was to alter an opening to accommodate high volumes of forklift traffic entering and leaving the building, to form a new opening to provide additional ingress to the building and create a sealed system at two openings to protect goods being transferred to and from the building.
Hart manufactured and installed a Speedor Super, a high-speed automatic, door as well as docks seals and a sectional overhead door that required a vertical lift system up to 10m high.
Other requirements included a two-way induction loop system to operate the Speedor Super, a dual traffic light system, detailed drawings to enable supporting steelwork to be fabricated and installed, and the matching of doors or interface with the façade of the building.
