Tough doors for hopper system

Materials such as wood pellets are unloaded into hoppers which simultaneously load directly into lorries which drive into the hopper for the purpose. Hart’s Nick Hart says the process generated dust which had to be controlled as a residential area was close-by. 

“The hoppers came with rigid doors which blew out as they were rated just to Class 3 and were clearly not fit-for-purpose. We were invited to resolve the issue and by installing Speedor Storms, rated to Class 5 with exceptional wind resistance together with the automatic action that the Speedor Storms deliver, we have achieved a very satisfactory solution,” says Hart.
