Energy saving controls

30 September 2013

Danlers Batten Mount PIR Occupancy controls are suitable for switching lights off when not required and with energy savings of up to 50% the payback period is kept to a minimum.

UK manufactured, the IP53 rated controls switch lighting loads of up to 10A and are simply fixed to the end of a lighting batten.

Two new Spot Detection controls have a narrow (1.5m) zone of detection, suitable for access points into storage aisles. One is available with a ‘passive’ photocell (BMPIRSP) the other with Danlers one touch ‘Intelligent’ photocell.

Also new are two Batten Mount PIRs offering a reduced height of detection for environments with open grid flooring where false triggering can occur from other levels. One has a ‘passive’ photocell; the other offers Danlers one touch ‘Intelligent’ photocell.

Danlers new ‘Intelligent’ one-touch calibration process distinguishes the difference between the artificial light and natural ambient light delivered to the photocell, resulting in enhanced energy savings; the risk of false triggering or ‘hunting’ is minimised.
