At the sharp end
21 November 2013
Capital Safety has introduced the Nano-Lok Edge Cable that is designed to be used with 'extreme' sharp edges.

It is believed to be the only self-retracting lifeline (SRL) in the world to allow use over a zero radii edge.
As it is not always possible to measure the sharpness of edges around a work site, the cable has been designed to ensure safety at even the sharpest edges.
Designed to tie off at foot level, Nano-Lok edge retracts unused lifeline, virtually eliminating a potential trip hazard. Other features include fall clearances as low as 4.9m – traditional foot level tie-off lanyards require fall clearances up to 6.75m – and high capacity at 140kg user weight supported.
