One day course highlights HAVS
30 September 2014
The law requires companies to assess the risk of employee injury (HAVS) from vibrating tools in the workplace. Castle's Training Academy is running a one day course that will provide delegates with a broad understanding of the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005, and what exactly is needed to comply with them.

The course, at Grimstock Country House in Birmingham, will cover:
• How vibration can affect the human body
• The different health surveillance methods
• An overview of the regulations and what the HSE want you to be doing
• How to take measurements during the afternoon practical session
• Monitoring "trigger time" and how different magnitudes take effect
