Food packaging manufacturer installs HVAC solution
18 November 2014
Reznor, a leading supplier of gas-fired warm air heating and ventilation systems, has recently completed a project for food packaging manufacturer A P Burt.
A P Burt moved from its existing premises in Portishead to a larger premises, still in Portishead, and Reznor was asked to provide an energy efficient heating system for the new building.
Reznor installed 4 x RHeco 100 fully condensing gas fired unit heaters together with 12 Maximisor 4500 destratification fans. The units are listed on the Energy Technology List and have an efficiency rating of between 104% and 109% (NCV). The equipment was specified by Westex Heating which was the installer for this project.
The de-stratification fans were strategically positioned to bring the heated air from the roof space back down to the working zone and an ambient door curtain was installed on the door between the production area and warehouse area to prevent any heat loss when the door is in use, providing a comfortable working temperature for employees.
Working together and understanding the needs of A P Burt, Reznor was able to provide an energy efficient heating system.
