Highlighting the group’s expertise in machine reliability, Chris Dean, global training officer for AVT Reliability’s sister company AESSEAL, will deliver a Business Exchange seminar on the issue of mechanical seals and pump reliability. Called ‘The Fuse in the System’, the seminar will give a pragmatic explanation of how and why seals and pumps fail as well as covering the latest advances in seal and support system design. The seminar will take place on Tuesday 24 March from 2.30pm to 3pm.

AVT Reliability’s stand will also host a competition to win an iPad, based around its condition-based maintenance system Machine Sentry. Visitors to the stand will be invited to take a reading from a running motor using Machine Sentry, and correct interpretation of the reading will give them one entry into the prize draw which will be made at random as the show draws to a close. Machine Sentry enables effective planning and management of maintenance through integrated data collection & analysis. The system features a special web interface enabling instant reporting plus remote diagnostics support from AVT Reliability’s condition monitoring experts, and is used at more than 200 sites nationwide.
